To develop processes to promote appropriate Christ-centred faith formation for diversity of staff in Catholic schools. |

| Content |
|
Adults who have a good understanding of their own faith and how to nurture it in others is needed in Catholic schools to model different ways of living faith and developing a relationship with Christ. School Principals in the second year of their appointment and their leadership teams will have the opportunity to diagnose the needs of their staff. They will have set faith formation and mission objectives while planning Faith Formation goals as part of their Catholic School Improvement Plans.
An understanding of the Catholic Identity of schools and the fundamental nature of why they exist and what sets them apart from other schools. Knowledge of Catholic schools as communities and evangelisation and their role in the formation of staff and students. The role the school needs to play within the mission of the Church. Analysing the 2023 Faith Survey data and how it relates to their staff. |

|
On completion participants will:
Have a greater knowledge of the faith needs of staff.
Have a greater understanding of the areas of formation for their own staff.
Have set priorities and goals for formation and mission of staff for three years.
Have developed a Faith Formation Plan for their own school.
Have set dates for review and implementation of Faith Formation Plan.
Gain 6 Hours knowledge towards ongoing renewal of an Accreditation Number. |
