Day 1:
• Explore the design of the WA Curriculum, and discuss key concepts and implications for teaching
• Evaluate and revise secondary language programs (theoretical underpinnings as well structure of programs e.g. Beginners and Continuers)
• Develop leadership skills and plan for change
Day 2:
• Examine the interests and needs of secondary language learners
• Explore strategies for differentiation
• Explore effective task design and rate task exemplars
• Share ideas and network with colleagues |
