Rationale     Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School is a mandatory professional requirement for all school-employed non-teaching staff in contact with students, or who have a particular responsibility for students. For example: Teacher Assistants, School Psychologists, Social Workers, Librarians, Bursars, Financial and Administrative Staff, Nurses, Home-School Liaison Officers.
     
Content     An introduction to the stories within Scripture and Tradition which inform us about the Mass and point to ways of living 'a Eucharistic life.'

Who Should Attend     Non-teaching staff completing Accreditation to Work in a Catholic school. For all Staff who currently hold an Accreditation Number, this module provides 6 hours ongoing renewal - knowledge.

Outcomes     On completion participants will:
  • explore the Catholic understanding of the Eucharist
  • appreciate the relevance of the module for their role in Catholic schools.
  • be credited 6 hours ongoing renewal - knowledge component - for those who currently hold an Accreditation Number.
