Title     Content Coalition – Humanities and Social Sciences - Day 4

Rationale     This program supports teachers who want to develop their skills to generate digital content for teaching and learning in upper primary and lower secondary settings.
     
Content     Content Coalition HASS extends the work achieved by previous Content Coalitions for the Western Australian Yr 5, 6, 7 and 8 Mathematics and Science Learning Areas. Teachers are supported to develop digital courses and multi-touch books with iTunesU and iBooks Author and a range of iPad applications. These resources are published to a global audience through the iBooks store.

Additional Comments     Please bring a fully charged Macbook (essential) and iPad (optional).
     
Outcomes     On completion participants will: • share classroom practice of purposeful technology integration for learning • create highly engaging and interactive digital student content • develop online student workflows that enable personalisation, inquiry, collaboration, experimentation and reflection • contribute to and draw from a shared digital content repository across devices • address the AITSL Professional Teacher Standards 2.6, 3.1, 3.4, 4.1, 4.5, 6.2, 6.3 and 7.4
