Rationale |
|
The North-East Kimberley Digital Learning program is designed to support K-6 educators who wish to further develop sound digital practice within their classroom and school. It is recommended that schools send both an Aboriginal Teaching Assistant and a Teacher to this program. The sequence of professional learning and networking days will explore the Digital Technologies Curriculum and General ICT Capabilities, provide opportunities to construct meaningful digital learning resources and share and reflect on the application of current teaching practices within their schools |

Participants of this program will:
• Explore the Digital Technologies Curriculum and how it differentiates to digital pedagogy
• Construct and explore purposeful and engaging learning resources using digital tools that reflect the needs of the school communities
• Reflect on and enhance practices using a coaching model on a digital learning challenge or goal
• Have an opportunity to network with other educators and share digital learning experiences

In person - Term 2: 15 May (8.30-3.30pm) & 16 May (8.00-12.00pm); Term 3: 04 Sep (8.30-3.30pm) & 05 Sep 2024 (8.00 - 12.00pm).
New participants who are passionate about Digital Learning and Technologies who would like to enrol should contact the Digital Learning Team.
