| Content |
|
Key Teacher Primary Science (KTPS) training will assist teachers to work with their Principal and other school leaders to contribute to the ongoing development of staff within their schools. They will be required to support teachers with the implementation of the Science WA Curriculum in addition to the implications of teaching Science within a number of STEM initiatives across CEWA primary schools. |

|
On completion participants will:
The Key Teachers must be effective and highly motivated classroom teachers who:
• are excellent classroom practitioners
• are keenly interested and demonstrate a level of expertise in the Science learning area
• are self-motivated learners, interested in exploring effective instructional strategies
• value collegial discussion and support
• enjoy challenges and work with others to solve problems.
• address the AITSL Professional Teacher Standards 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.4, 4.1,5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 6.2, 6.3 and 7.4
