Title     Secondary Media Arts/Media Production and Analysis Network Day
     
Target Audience     Catholic Schools - Other Schools/Organisations/Non-CEWA Catholic Schools
     
Rationale     The WA Curriculum K-10 programs and the courses for Year 11 and 12 will be discussed to give teachers the opportunity to share assessments, programs and ideas for the preparation of the General Externally Set Task. This is an opportunity for early career teachers to network with like-minded teachers.
     
Content     • An overview of the syllabuses, discussion on the pedagogical practices for developing excellence for students to achieve to their potential. • Sharing of written examinations for Year 11 and Year 12 students. • Sharing ways of employing a range of effective strategies to optimise learning. • Opportunity to discuss the General EST. • Reviewing theory and practical content relating to current technology.
