Book Club – 4 online live sessions in Term 3
Welcome to the Permission To Feel Book Club for School Leaders. This highly interactive 4-week “course” is designed to take school leaders on a journey to understand the power of emotions to enhance personal and professional success. Each week, Dr. Marc Brackett, author and director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, will take participants on a journey of self-exploration and action-planning around the role of emotions in learning, leading, decision making, health, and performance. Chapter-by-chapter, participants will learn the principles of emotion science and the five-key skills of emotional intelligence (recognising, understanding, labelling, expressing, and regulating emotion) and then apply this information to achieve personal and professional goals.
