|
It is a school registration requirement that all CEWA schools have a current Incident Response and Crisis Management Plan. This plan must outline the schools’ systems, structures, processes and resources to be used for Incident Response and Crisis Management. This training supports school Incident Response Teams to develop their school plan to respond to and recover from emergencies and serious disruptive events that have the potential to affect their school community. |

Content |
|
This course assists Principals and their school Incident Response Team to develop their own school plan to respond to and recover from emergencies and serious disruptive events in their unique school settings aligned with CEWA processes. The course will cover prevention and planning, school IRT and CEWA office teams roles and responsibilities, training drills and simulations and response and recovery planning. |

Participants will engage in simulation activities and guided planning activities.
At the end of this training schools will have developed or updated their own school plan and will have the tools and resources to train all school staff in the implementation of their school plan and procedures.
