| | The all day 2026 MAI Administration Session ensures staff are confident and consistent in administering the Mathematics Assessment Interview to collect high-quality diagnostic data that informs teaching and learning. The extended format allows time to unpack the MAI’s purpose and structure, practise the full interview process, discuss common student strategies, and build shared understanding of Growth Points and the Learning Framework in Number. Through modelling, rehearsal, and moderation, teachers strengthen accuracy and reliability, so they are fully prepared to administer, score, and use MAI data effectively during the 2026 assessment window. |
