Digital Learning Early Years (K-2) 2024-Day 2 of 3
The Digital Learning Early Years Program aims to assist K-2 educators in enhancing their digital teaching practices within early childhood classrooms. This three-day professional learning series (one day in Terms 2, 3 and 4) delves into the utilisation of suitable early years apps and tools, emphasising creativity and pedagogy. During these professional learning days, participants will explore how digital tools can foster creativity within the classroom and broader school environment. Additionally, topics such as communication, curriculum, workflow, and device management will be addressed. It is a requirement of the program that participants bring an iPad to work from. Please let the team know if you are unable to do so.

Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School - Module - Making Moral Choices
Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School is a mandatory professional requirement for all school-employed non-teaching staff in contact with students, or who have a particular responsibility for students. For example: Teacher Assistants, School Psychologists, Social Workers, Librarians, Bursars, Financial and Administrative Staff, Nurses, Home-School Liaison Officers.

Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum 1-Day General Course (Primary School Staff)
It is a Non-Government school registration requirement that all students receive a protective behaviours and sexual abuse prevention education. CEWA endorses and provides training in KS:CPC to meet this requirement. The Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) is developed by experts in child abuse prevention. It is age and developmental-stage appropriate, is culturally responsive and can be integrated into the wider curriculum. KS:CPC includes e-safety education and builds practical self-protective skills and strategies.

STEM Network Days 2024-Showcase Date - Perth
These Professional Learning opportunities are open to both Primary and Secondary staff and will focus on the Teaching practices of Engagement, Learning Design, and Place, Space and Technology. These network days are designed for individuals who are working with STEM pedagogies within their individual school contexts to come together, network and build their knowledge in both STEM disciplines and approached and building the capacity of teachers within their own schools in this approach. Opportunities and support for school and student recognition both within CEWA and nationally will also be a focus.
