| This session is one of the three professional development sessions in our “An Introduction to EAL/D Series”. This series is designed to support educators who are new to working with EAL/D students.
Sessions can be completed independently of each other. This session aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the EAL/D Progress Maps, highlighting their importance in planning, monitoring, assessing and reporting for students requiring support in developing Standard Australian English (SAE).
Participants will learn how to use the EAL/D Progress Maps to identify student needs, set achievable outcomes, and implement targeted teaching strategies using the Progress Maps alongside the standard curriculum.
By the end of the session, educators will be better prepared to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes the
academic success of EAL/D students. |
