Position Details

Year One Classroom Teacher

Francis Jordan Catholic School is a double stream Catholic primary school located in Currambine in Perth’s north. We are a part of the St. Simon Peter Parish of Ocean Reef and our school is well known in the community for the comprehensive music and performing arts programs available at the School.

We are seeking an experienced early childhood educator for all of Term Three to cover LSL.

Selection Criteria

We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional desire to:

• Demonstrate a personal witness to the Catholic faith through relationships with others.
• Be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching and learning.
• Have a thorough knowledge of current research and theories in early childhood.
• Work professionally, cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of educators.
• Authentically nurture positive, mature and respectful relationships with children, staff and families.
• Knowledge and training in Sounds Write and/or Talk For Writing would be an advantage.

Qualifications Required

Early Childhood Qualification.
