Position Details

We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant for 0.4 FTE, preferably Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.  

This is a part-time temporary position commencing 24 June 2024, replacing a staff member on leave until the end of the year. The successful applicant will job share with the current Administrative Officer who works 0.6 FTE.

This is a front desk role, which involves, but is not limited to; management of attendance data, student enrolments, student medications and health plans, responding to phone & in person enquiries, student support, PA to the Principal, and other general administration / reception duties as required.

St Patrick's Primary School, Fremantle, is a vibrant, co-educational, single-stream primary school, catering for 125 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. Selection Criteria

1. Administrative experience/school experience.
2. First Aid qualifcation, AOS and SEQTA desirable but training upon appointment if required.
3. Excellent communication, problem solving and organisation skills.
4. Welcoming, friendly and supportive manner with students, staff, parents and visitors.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications Required


1. Relevant experience.
2. A valid Working with Children Check Card in Western Australia.
3. Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
