Education Assistant – Special Needs


Emmaus Catholic Primary School is a new co-educational Catholic school in Dayton, in the heart of the Swan Valley catering for 3K to Year 6 students.  The school opened in January 2023 and we currently have a student population of 280.  The school will continue to grow its population in transition to a double stream.  We are excited to welcome families of all cultures who seek a Catholic education for their child/children.  Our school focuses on providing a quality Catholic education and personal success for all students.

Our school is a place for learning, connecting, developing, transforming and journeying together so each student reaches their God given potential.  Together in close partnership with parents, we will deliver a Christ centred and child focused education of the highest quality.

The successful applicant will work closely with 2–3 students in the current Pre-Primary classrooms, providing one-on-one support for children with extensive learning needs in the Early Years.  The school will require someone who is flexible to spread the 0.5 FTE over 4 days a week, with an later start and early finish to these days.  The position is for Term 3 and 4, 2025 with the possibility of ongoing.
