Position Details

Teacher Assistant

Mazenod College is a Catholic Secondary Boys Day / Boarding School conducted by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate with an enrolment of 870 boys.

Mazenod College is seeking applications from enthusiastic and suitably qualified Teacher Assistants to join our Learning Support Team. 

This role will suit candidates who are passionate about learning, childhood development and provide excellent pastoral care of students. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing pastoral and educational support to lower-secondary aged students. 

All staff are expected to be supportive of the Oblate values and ethos of the College as well as its co-curricular activities.  Mazenod College is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and College community.

Qualifications Required

Applicants must hold a Certificate III in School Based Education Support (or equivalent) qualification from a recognised education institution or demonstrate appropriate workplace experience, a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, and valid Working with Children Check to be eligible for appointment.
