Position Details

Sacred Heart School, Mundaring, is a thriving school in the heart of the Perth Hills area. We are blessed to cater for approximately 206 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six with dedicated and supportive staff. The school has a strong sense of community and an active parent body. Selection Criteria

We are seeking a “Christ-Centred, Child-Focused” leader who demonstrates: 

  • A genuine, authentic and dynamic understanding and commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education with the ability to lead/support the Religious Education learning area and Catholic Identity of the school.
  • Expertise in curriculum leadership, with the ability to lead and manage the development and implementation of high-quality, evidence-based teaching and learning programs, and is skilled in aligning curriculum with school priorities, supporting staff development, and ensuring engaging, differentiated learning for all students.
  • A capacity to lead the strategic use of school data to drive continuous improvement in student outcomes, and is skilled in collecting, analysing, and interpreting a wide range of academic and wellbeing data to inform evidence-based decision-making at both classroom and whole-school levels.
  • High levels of organisation with a proven ability to manage the complex administrative responsibilities of a senior school leader, and is experienced in overseeing operational planning, compliance, reporting, and resource management while maintaining a clear focus on strategic priorities.
  • A strong ability to collaborate effectively with staff across all year levels, fostering a culture of trust, shared purpose, and professional growth, and are skilled in building positive, respectful relationships that support open communication, collective efficacy, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required

  • Relevant 4-year Tertiary Qualification
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education
  • Accreditation to Lead
