Digital Technologies Teacher

We are seeking a Design Technology Teacher for a full-time temporary contract for Semester 2.

The successful applicant will be committed to teaching and the effective running of the classroom in a culture of excellence, innovation, and opportunity at St. Brigid’s.


Selection Criteria

•    A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education
•    Ability to teach Digital Technologies of secondary school students from years 7 – 9
•    Commitment to the values of St Brigid’s College and our Vision for Learning
•    An ability to respond to the differing learning needs and strengths of all students 
•    A preparedness to develop cultural understanding and competence, especially in relation to our Indigenous community members
•    Ability to form a positive rapport with staff and students and build collaborative relationships
•    Outstanding knowledge of the relevant subject material and current pedagogical practices
•    Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
•    Demonstrate a high level of organisational ability and initiative, including capacity to set priorities and work to deadlines
•    Understanding of the principles of Child Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Industrial Democracy and Occupational Health and Safety
•    Current Working with Children Card
•    Current TRBWA Registration
