Position Details
KINDERGARTEN TEACHER
St Anthony's School, Wanneroo, is a co-educational double stream Catholic school that caters for over 440 students and their families from 3 Year Old Kindergarten to Year 6. We are a community that strives to develop and encourage the Christian values modelled by Jesus and where growth of the whole person is enhanced through our educational program.
This is a maternity leave replacement. We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood teacher who will work collaboratively with the Leadership Team, St Anthony's employees, students and members of the parent community.
Selection Criteria
• A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
• Experience in programming with and teaching the Kindergarten Guidelines including integration of EYLF and NQS in programming, planning and teaching.
• Experience with the Pre-Lit program would be an advantage.
• Experience in working with peers to plan for and implement teaching that improves student engagement and learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
• The ability to work collaboratively with other staff to provide the best possible opportunities and outcomes for all students.
• Proven knowledge of, and experience in, using digital technologies to enhance learning and teaching.
• Understanding of the principles of Child Safety, Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting, and Work Health and Safety.
• Have the ability to be flexible and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
• Provide contact details for a Parish Priest referee.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education essential.
• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or working towards).
