Arts Technician
Selection Criteria
• A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
• Highly developed communication, listening and modelling skills.
• A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Early childhood experience preferred.
• The ability to work cooperatively with staff and to implement learning programs.
• Possess sound literacy and numeracy skills.
• Be positive and enthusiastic, and willing to work under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Creativity and initiative, and be able to develop a positive relationship with young children.
• Willingness to engage in professional learning to improve skills.
• Competency with the use of Information Technology to support children’s learning.
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the children, staff and the College.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
Qualifications Required
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Education Support with Special Learning Needs.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Cleared Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check obtained through the Department of Education only.
