Primary Teacher – Full-time, Ongoing
Situated in the picturesque Avon Valley, 50 mins from Midland CBD, St Joseph’s School is a Catholic coeducational K-12 School with approximately 780 students on two campuses.
Selection Criteria
Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes:
• be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
• be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills.
• possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum.
• demonstrates an understanding of the need for both Explicit and Differentiated instruction within a classroom environment.
• be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator who understands and can demonstrate the importance of ICT being embedded and integrated into their teaching practices.
• be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team.
• understand the importance of feedback to parents and students.
• show initiative and participate fully in school activities.
• demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills.
Qualifications Required
• Accreditation requirements as specified by CEWA Ltd.
• Relevant 4 year tertiary qualifications.
