Position Details

Youth Worker – Part-time (0.4 FTE), Temporary

St Francis’ School is seeking applications for a part-time Youth Worker to begin Term One, 2025.

St Francis’ School is a Catholic coeducational Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education (CARE) School that caters for the needs of students and provides a caring and safe school environment for students who may find mainstream school situations difficult.

The role will involve providing support services for the spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of students by providing pastoral care and strategies that support the wellbeing of the broader school community.


Selection Criteria

You will be supportive of the Catholic ethos of St Francis’ School in the performance of your duties. You will have the willingness to be a positive role model for students. You will have the ability to work in a team environment.


Qualifications Required

Essential:

•    Current Drivers Licence.
•    A Certificate IV in Youth Work or Pastoral Care.
•    CEWA Check of Employment Status which must be completed and submitted electronically with your application.

Desirable:

•    Senior First Aid Certificate.
