Position Details

Educational Assistant – Special Needs – Part-time (0.8 FTE), Temporary

St Michael’s Catholic Primary School is a small rural school of 100 students K-6 located 25 km north of Bunbury.  St Michael’s Catholic Primary School provides a rich, comprehensive curriculum to meet the needs of our students.  Our family-oriented ethos is based on the Gospel values of faith, hope and love.

This part-time position will form an integral part of the Early Years education team providing learning support for our students.  We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic educator to join this team.


Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will be required to work under the direction of the class teacher and be able to demonstrate a high degree of competency in supporting the smooth running of the learning program. They will be able to work with students with special needs supporting their individual growth and education plans.


Qualifications Required

•    Certificate III or IV in Education Support.
•    Current Working With Children.
•    Current Police Clearance.
