Position Details
Pre-Primary Teacher
St Patrick’s Catholic School is a vibrant learning environment, catering for students in a co-educational setting from Kindergarten – Year 6. The school is seeking an inspiring educator, committed to fostering a love of learning, enhancing student engagement and improving outcomes for all students. Saint Patrick's School has strong links with the local parish community.
The school is seeking a part-time Pre-Primary Teacher, to work one day a week. There is flexibility around which day of the week she/he will work, to suit the successful applicant. The start date can be the week of 9th June 2025, or the beginning of Term 3.
Selection Criteria
• A demonstrated commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and community dimensions of the school.
• A sound understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and a diverse range of educational theories and practices.
• An ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of an energetic and highly capable team.
• A strong work-ethic.
• Be an organised staff member who shows initiative, flexibility and display a positive outlook, while reflecting a passion for education at all times.
• Demonstrate the capacity and enthusiasm required to build community with staff, parents, students and the wider community.
• The ability to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for a variety of student needs.
Qualifications Required
• Relevant four year tertiary qualification.
