Position Details
Classroom Teacher (Year 3) – Part-time (0.6 FTE), Temporary
St Thomas More Catholic Primary School is a single-stream regional school catering for about 200 students from Pre-Kindy to Year 6 situated in Margaret River.
We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled and passionate Year 3 Teacher who is vibrant, enthusiastic and motivated and loves working in a collaborative, fun and engaging environment.
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate should:
• Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
• Be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills
• Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum
• Demonstrates an understanding of the need for both Explicit and Differentiated instruction within a classroom environment
• Be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator who understands and can demonstrate the importance of ICT being embedded and integrated into their teaching practices
• Be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team
• Understand the importance of feedback to parents and students
• Show initiative and participate fully in school activities
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills
Qualifications Required
• Accreditation requirements as specified by CEWA Ltd
• Relevant 4 year tertiary qualification
