PERFORMING ARTS TEACHER (MUSIC / DANCE)
St John's School is a co-educational primary school from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six, serving families in the Dominican tradition. At St John's, we are more than just a school; we are a caring, compassionate, and supportive environment where every individual is valued and encouraged to flourish to their full potential. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and dedicate teacher to join our collaborative team. The successful applicant will be confident in teaching the performing arts learning area, committed to excellence, and supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school. Applications from teachers who are passionate about for dance, music and/or drama are welcomed.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicants will demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of Catholic education, with the ability to contribute to the spiritual and community life of the school
- A thorough knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and the ability to plan, implement, and differentiate learning programs effectively
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build authentic relationships across the school community
- Ability to coordinate the school choir and prepare students for assemblies, masses, liturgies and whole school performances including the Christmas Concert
- Be willing to participate in extra-curricular activities to build a strong Catholic school community
- A sense of humour, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching, with high expectations for both self and students
Qualifications Required
- 4 Year Trained.
- Current Working With Children Check Card.Full TRBWA registration.
- Accreditation or progress towards teaching RE in a Catholic school.
