Position Details
Year 4 Teacher – Full-time, Temporary
Holy Spirit School is seeking a passionate, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join our wonderful community. Holy Spirit School is an extremely welcoming community located in City Beach. The school is known widely for its supportive environment, motivated students and amazing staff team. Successful applicants must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
Holy Spirit School is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for the duration of 2025, with the possibility of employment in 2026 for the suitable candidate.
Selection Criteria
- Be a practising Catholic who understands and supports the Catholic tradition and Ethos of the school.
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to create and foster a welcoming environment and lasting relationships with Students, Parents and Staff.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with Education Assistants, Teaching and Leadership staff.
- Understands and integrates key curriculum and planning documentation.
- Has experience in catering for difference and working students who have Special Needs.
- Creates relevant learning plans, spaces and assessments that cater for inquiry and individual interests.
- Integrates technology seamlessly throughout learning activities.
- Is passionate about developing students to their full potential.
- Is willing to assist and contribute positively to all areas of school life.
Qualifications Required
- Tertiary Education Qualification.
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
