DEPUTY PRINCIPAL – Head of Campus
Lavalla Catholic College is a co-educational Secondary College governed by Marist Schools Australia Limited. The College is located in the thriving regional city of Traralgon in the picturesque Gippsland region, approximately 160 kilometres from Melbourne.
About the role
As a crucial member of the College Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal - Head of Campus supports the Principal in all aspects of College leadership and acts for the Principal as required. Together with the Principal and other members of the College Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal-Head of Campus shares responsibility for implementing the College’s Strategic Plan and co-leads the development of an exemplary learning and pastoral environment, which aligns with the College’s vision for learning & teaching and prioritises the wellbeing of students and staff in a manner consistent with its Mission.
If you
• Are an active member of a Catholic Eucharistic Community;
• Enjoy working in a caring, dynamic environment with young people;
• Possess demonstrable Middle and/or Senior Leadership experience, successfully leading Learning & Teaching and/or Student & Staff Wellbeing within a Catholic secondary context;
• Possess suitable Post-Graduate or Masters level qualifications and are committed to ongoing personal and professional development;
• Demonstrate innovative professional practice and possess high-level communication and interpersonal skills;
• Possess current VIT membership (or eligibility) and have a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children;
