Position Details

Deputy Principal – Full-time, Temporary

This is a temporary full-time position commencing 5 February 2025 and concluding 17 December 2026.

Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

1. Proven success as a teacher and educational leader, preferably at the Senior level;
2. Appropriate postgraduate qualifications and educational experience;
3. A deep commitment to Catholic education;
4. A commitment to the School’s Child Protection – Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy upholding the school’s statement of commitment to child safety at all times;
5. Highly effective interpersonal and written communication, administrative and organisational skills;
6. An excellent grasp of current educational and operational thought and practice;
7. A commitment to the faith development, education and pastoral wellbeing of all staff and students;
8. Demonstrated excellence in the use of ICT in an educational setting;
9. An ability to work productively with fellow teachers and support staff in a collaborative decision-making structure;
10. A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
