Position Details
Assistant Principal
St Luke’s is a double-stream Catholic primary school with classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. We are a vibrant and inclusive Catholic community where students are provided opportunities to grow as unique individuals. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Catholic educator to join our team and positively influence the lives of our students and assist them to become the future leaders of the community. Wellbeing of staff, students and family is a priority at St Luke's.

Selection Criteria
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and innovative Catholic educators with the following attributes:
- Ability to support the members of the Leadership Team and Staff to ensure St Luke’s remains a school of choice
- Extensive recent experience as a curriculum/instructional leader
- Experience in teaching middle/upper primary
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with a Team to enhance both staff and student wellbeing
- Strong interpersonal skills and deep understanding of the importance of building positive relationships at all levels of the community
- Recent experience in mentoring staff and giving feedback to enhance the quality of teaching
- Confident in using data and current research to drive pedagogy and school improvement
- Sound knowledge of information technology, infrastructure and device management and the ability to problem solve
- An agile team member, with a sense of humour and excellent organisational skills
Qualifications Required
- Accreditation for Leadership
- Minimum 7 years relevant teaching experience
Desirable
- Completed or working towards Masters
- Recent completion of leadership courses relevant to selection criteria
- Current leadership experience
