UPPER PRIMARY TEACHER
FULL TIME – FIXED TERM
We are currently seeking a full-time, fixed term teacher to commence Monday 18 May (Week 5), Term 2, 2026.
This is a fixed term teaching position commencing on 18 May 2026 and concluding on 31 December, 2026.
Founded by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions in 1918, St Matthew’s School Narrogin is a single stream, co-educational Catholic school with an enrolment of 172 students from Kindergarten to Year Six. Narrogin is a comfortable two-hour drive from both Perth and Bunbury, and offers a host of sporting, cultural, artistic and community opportunities in a thriving rural locality. The school offers modern and well-maintained facilities in a well-resourced and progressive learning environment. The vibrant and dedicated staff are committed to implementing whole-school approaches to both Literacy and Numeracy, whilst embedding Information and Communication Technology across the curriculum. Selection Criteria
We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional desire to:
• work professionally, cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of educators
• deliver a quality learning program that provides focused teaching and a differentiated curriculum that engages and challenges learners
• analyse and use data to inform teaching and learning practices in order to raise student levels of achievement¿
• use technology as a powerful tool for teaching and learning
• authentically nurture positive, mature and respectful relationships with students, staff and families
• be a proactive contributor within our community - willing to share their ideas, time and¿ expertise for the good of all
Qualifications Required
• A relevant four-year tertiary qualification
• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or commitment to commence)
• Be supportive of the ethos and objectives of Catholic Education
