Education Assistant (General) – Full-time, Ongoing

Our Lady of Fatima School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and professional full-time/ongoing Education Assistants, commencing 1 January 2025.

Our Lady of Fatima School is a single stream Catholic co-educational primary school in Palmyra for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. The vision of the school is: "Nurturing lifelong learners, who live out Jesus' message of love and peace". The school strives to live this vision by:

Our Lady of Fatima School works in partnership with the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima, Palmyra and has been an integral part of the local community for over 100 years.


Selection Criteria

•    Be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
•    Is flexible, enthusiastic, professional and contributes positively to staff culture.
•    Displays excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
•    Shows initiative, is able to work independently and responds positively to feedback.
•    Is able to work closely with the teacher to support the learning, social and emotional needs of the students.
•    Demonstrates a commitment to child safety and an understanding of the CEWA Child Safe Framework.


Qualifications Required
 
•    Certificate III Education Support or equivalent.
•    Accreditation to Work in Catholic Schools (or willingness to attain this).
