Position Details
ECE / Junior Primary Teacher – Full-time, Ongoing
This is a permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2025.
St Anthony's School Greenmount is a co-educational, double-stream school from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school enjoys a close relationship with the parish and strong support from the parent community.
Selection Criteria
We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our collaborative and dedicated staff. The successful applicant will:
• Be Accredited to teach Religious Education or have completed the study components.
• Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
• Be an organised, flexible staff member who communicates effectively and shows initiative.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of curriculum content and evidence-based teaching practices, especially those related to play-based inquiry learning.
• Deliver a quality learning program comprised of: explicit teaching; a differentiated curriculum that engages and challenges learners; and timely, individualised feedback.
• Utilise Learning Intentions and Success Criteria to guide student learning and promote autonomy.
• Effectively use technology as a teaching and learning tool.
• Demonstrate highly competent classroom management.
• Work professionally, cooperatively, collaboratively and respectfully with all members of our community.
DESIRABLE
• Have completed Talk 4 Writing and Sounds-Write training.
Qualifications Required
A relevant four year tertiary qualification.
