Position Details

Groundsperson – Part-time (0.79 FTE), Ongoing

Queen of Apostles School is a co-educational school catering for 260 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Strong and effective relationships exist between home, school and parish. We strive to instil in the students the values of Faith, Resilience, Respect, Compassion and Excellence.

This is great opportunity for an energetic and committed Groundsperson to contribute to the maintaining of our school buildings and grounds at Queen of Apostles Primary School.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm. Days/hours of work are negotiable.


Selection Criteria

• Be able to undertake various maintenance tasks to buildings, grounds and gardens.
• Able to ensure grounds are maintained in a clean, healthy, tidy state that provides students and staff with a safe environment.
• Ensure maintenance requests are fulfilled within agreed timeframes.
• Support the implementation of preventative maintenance and compliance.
• Be able to provide and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with work health and safety legislation.


Qualifications Required

• Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School (or willingness to attain this).
• Valid Drivers License.
