Position Details
Religious Education Teacher – Full-time, Ongoing
This is an ongoing position commencing January 2025.
As a Religious Education specialist, you strive to plan, prepare and deliver rich and meaningful learning experiences focused on optimising learning outcomes for all students.
Your day will look like:
• using your experience and knowledge to inspire students with a love of learning and a strong sense of the Catholic faith.
• utilising effective and contemporary teaching and learning that consider the individual learning needs of students.
• supporting the Vision for Learning to grow courageous, flexible, engaged and connected learners.
• being committed to the holistic growth of students.
• working in a team of dedicated Religion teachers focused on continual improvement and the pursuit of excellence.
• effectively coordinating your pastoral care group.
• being a role model of the College's values.
• actively supporting Catholic identity and the development of faith.
• building and maintaining strong relationships based on mutual respect with students, families and peers.
Selection Criteria
For this role, you will need:
• a tertiary teaching qualification and TRBWA registration.
• a current Working with Children Registration.
• to be a practising Catholic who is fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
• to be working toward or have completed Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School.
