Teacher (Music)
St Munchin’s Catholic School Gosnells, is seeking to employ a passionate, dynamic and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our diverse, committed and vibrant team.

St Munchin’s is a co-educational, double-stream Catholic school, founded by the Mercy Sisters.  Today the school caters for over 450 learners from Three-Year-Old Kindy to Year Six.  The school draws its enrolment from a rich, diverse and multicultural community who strive to learn and grow together in harmony.

There is a strong possibility of the position continuing in 2026 for the successful candidate

Selection Criteria

We are seeking a suitably experienced, qualified, professional, committed, positive, "Christ centred, child focused" educator who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and desire, along with:

•    An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
•    A team player, with a proven history of developing positive, professional relationships in their current / previous community.
•    Ability to teach Music to Primary school Students.
•    Excellent at classroom management that creates a safe and supportive environment for all students.
•    Is a dynamic educator and an innovative and reflective practitioner.
•    Able to cater for all students across the school at their individual level.
•    Able to authentically nurture positive and respectful relationships with students, staff and families.
•    Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
•    Shows initiative and a professional approach to all tasks.
•    A team orientated, positive, professional, cooperative and collaborative educator who values and strives for continual professional growth and values feedback.
•    A life long learner with a high level of professionalism, understanding of confidentiality, empathy and positive interpersonal skills.

Qualifications Required

•    Relevant 4 year ECE Tertiary Qualification.
•    Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or working towards).
