| Position Details
Assistant Principal
St John's School is a co-educational primary school from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six, serving families in the Dominican tradition. At St John's, we are more than just a school; we are a caring, compassionate, and supportive environment where every individual is valued and encouraged to flourish to their full potential. As an integral part of our Catholic faith community, our school strives to foster an atmosphere where the inherent dignity of each person is recognised and nurtured.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled educator to take on the role of Assistant Principal at St John's School. The successful applicant will have direct involvement in a wide variety of leadership experiences as the school continues to build upon its rich history. They will work in close partnership with the Principal, within a single Assistant Principal model and have exposure to all aspects of school leadership.
The position will be ongoing commencing at the beginning of Term Four 2025, to be negotiated if required.

Community
- An inclusive leader who can support students with diverse learning, social and cultural needs through the promotion of safety and wellbeing.
- Exhibits faith-led leadership by building inclusive relationships with the parish and community, maintaining a visible and supportive presence.
Stewardship
- A leader who contributes to an accessible, affordable and sustainable education system and can lead professional learning communities to focus on school priorities.
Qualifications Required
1) An active member of the Catholic Church.
2) Accreditation for Leadership (or working towards).
3) A minimum of seven years relevant teaching experience.
4) Current Teachers Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA).
5) Current WA Working with Children Check (WA WWCC).
