Position Details
Italian Teacher – Part-time (0.7 FTE), Ongoing
This is an ongoing position commencing January 2025. Approximately, 0.7 FTE Italian with the ability to negotiate higher FTE in your secondary teaching area.
As an Italian Teacher you strive to plan, prepare and deliver rich and meaningful learning experiences focused on optimising learning outcomes for all students.
Your day will look like:
• using your experience and knowledge to inspire students with a love of the Italian language and culture.
• utilising effective and contemporary teaching and learning that consider the individual learning needs of students.
• supporting the Vision for Learning to grow courageous, flexible, engaged and connected learners.
• being committed to the holistic growth of students.
• working in a team of English and Language teachers focused on continual improvement and the pursuit of excellence.
• effectively coordinating your pastoral care group.
• being a role model of the College's values.
• actively supporting Catholic identity and the development of faith in the performance of your duties.
• building and maintaining strong relationships based on mutual respect with students, families and peers.
Selection Criteria
For this role, you will need:
• a tertiary teaching qualification and TRBWA registration.
• a current Working with Children Registration.
• to be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of your duties.
• to be working toward or have completed Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School.
