Position Details:

St Helena’s Catholic Primary School is a co-educational primary school catering for 490 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for a committed and passionate Teacher to positively influence the lives of students, supporting them in their learning and contribute to our school community at St Helena's Catholic Primary School.

Selection Criteria:

  •  Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
  • Demonstrate excellent pedagogical skills with a flexible, collaborative and student-centred approach, promoting student wellbeing and pastoral care.
  • Demonstrate excellent planning and implementation of a differentiated teaching/learning programme, including thinking skills and inquiry-based learning that engages all learners.
  • Demonstrated passion and expertise in the provision of education for Students with Disabilities and students with diverse learning needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use assessment, continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust the teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
  •  Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and to enhance one’s own teaching instruction and the learning culture of the school.
  • Experience in accessing and collaborating with external consultants, specialist personnel and agencies.
  • Demonstrate an ability to lead by taking on roles within the school and being involved in extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications Required:

*    Accreditation to Teach Religious Education
*    Relevant 4 Year Tertiary Qualifications
