Position Details:

Mazenod College is a Catholic Secondary Boys Day / Boarding School conducted by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate with an enrolment of 890 boys including 80 Boarding students.

Mazenod College is seeking applications from enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced members of the community for the role of Library Officer in our Learning Resource Centre. The Library Officer supports Mazenod College’s main objective of teaching and learning of students through assisting the Director of the Learning Resource Centre and teachers to facilitate an environment for the delivery of education programs and encouraging a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The working pattern for the position is 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday) during school terms only.  Hours of work: 7.30am – 3.30pm.

The successful applicant will have;
•    Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Excellent organisational skills that will assist in the operations of the Learning Resource Centre
•    Demonstrated knowledge of office practice and procedures
•    Knowledge of library practices, including the use of an integrated automated library catalogue, or a past work history with appropriate transferrable skills.
