Position Details
Support Officer, The Shopfront
Permanent Part-Time
The Support Officer will report to the Director to support the Shopfront with day-to-day needs, ensuring operations are smooth with the help of volunteers. The Support Officer is also responsible for coordinating operations and services when the Director is not present.
About the role - a snapshot:
1 Be part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth and provide administration support to enable the Archdiocese to continue its work and service
2 3.5 days additional paid leave over Christmas

The successful candidate must have experience in food handing, social welfare background/experience, strong interpersonal, communication skills. This position requires the ability to work cooperatively with volunteers and on-site service providers, and to work efficiently under pressure. The candidate will have a proactive approach to work, with the ability to follow direction and work independently, as well as be a team player with a “can-do” attitude.
A valid National Police Clearance, WA Driver’s License, and proof of working rights in Australia required.
