Primary Teacher

Selection Criteria
• Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and Early Years Learning Framework and can apply this knowledge to challenge and engage learners.
• Display highly proficient communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to authentically nurture positive and respectful relationships with staff, students and families.
• Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills to create a supportive and safe learning environment.
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of various assessment and reporting strategies and the requirement to provide effective and timely feedback to parents and students.
• A sound understanding of, and commitment to, the Church’s mission in Catholic Education with a preparedness to be fully involved in the spiritual and community life of the school.
• Display a capacity and willingness to be a proactive member of a professional learning community and work collaboratively with all staff.
• Demonstrate a high level of expertise in integrating digital technologies to enrich teaching and learning experiences.
Qualifications Required
• Relevant four year tertiary qualification.
• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willing to work towards).
• TRBWA registration.
• Working with Children Check.
