| | <p><strong>EARLY YEARS / PRIMARY TEACHER</strong></p><p><strong>Position Details</strong><br>Infant Jesus School, Morley is a double-stream co-educational primary school catering for children from Pre-Kindy to Year 6 with an approximate enrolment of 500 students. The school has a strong sense of community, with an emphasis on pastoral care and acceptance of all cultural and social backgrounds and needs. The school enjoys a close relationship with the parish and strong support from the parent community.</p><p>We are seeking a dynamic, flexible, and collaborative educator to fill a diverse teaching role across the school.</p><p><strong>This position includes:</strong><br>• Teaching Science and Drama across Pre-Primary to Year 2<br>• Providing English extension across year levels<br>• Teaching a full day in a Year 6 classroom</p><p>While this is advertised as a full-time position, we may consider splitting this role for suitably qualified applicants.</p><p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong><br>• Be a practising Catholic and fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education<br>• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student outcomes<br>• A comprehensive knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning<br>• Excellent planning and organisational skills <br>• Demonstrated ability to teach across all year levels as a support teacher, adapting programs to meet diverse learning needs and supporting inclusive education practices <br>• Strong use of digital technologies and inquiry-based learning that engages students in a contemporary learning environment <br>• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment<br>• Understand the importance of developing positive relationships with children, staff and parents and can demonstrate evidence of such actions<br>• Demonstrate an ability to take on extra roles and be involved in extra-curricular activities.<br><br><strong>Qualifications required</strong><br>• Relevant 4-year tertiary qualifications (early childhood qualification desirable)<br>• Accreditation to teach Religious Education or working towards</p><p><strong>Application details</strong><br>Applicants must submit a cover letter which addresses the selection criteria and a curriculum vitae, addressed to the Principal, including the names and contact numbers of three referees, one of whom must be the current employer and a Parish Priest.</p><p><strong>For more information please visit the School website: </strong><a href="https://www.infantjesus.wa.edu.au/">www.infantjesus.wa.edu.au</a></p><p><strong>Closing date for application: </strong>12 June 2026</p><p> </p> |
